In honor of the late Harris K. Leonard’s interest in children who have experienced foster care and his life long dedication to education, the Leonard family has established the Harris K. Leonard Memorial Scholarship of $1,500 to be awarded to a student who is currently in foster care, has aged out of foster care or was adopted from foster care and is pursuing post-high school education.
