With deep authenticity, Hasberry draws on her personal journey and professional expertise as an executive leadership coach and licensed marriage and family therapist associate. She navigates the complexities of identity, loss, and resilience, shedding light on how societal norms and systemic biases shape the experiences of adoptees.
ABOUT THE SPEAKER:
Dr. Abigail Hasberry is a transracial adoptee, executive leadership coach, and licensed marriage and family therapist associate. With a rich background in education, including roles as a teacher and principal across diverse school settings, she holds a Ph.D. in curriculum & instruction, along with multiple degrees in African American studies, sociology, teaching, and counseling. Dr. Hasberry's research delves into identity development and the experiences of black teachers in varied school environments, while her personal journey as an adoptee and birth mother drives her passion for supporting others in their paths of healing and growth.
