Parents in Northern Virginia are invited to join this FREE virtual parent support group, moderated by Mari Itzkowitz, LCSW, C.A.S.E. Director of Clinical Services and Bonnie Westfall, MS, C.A.S.E. Case Manager. This group will meet once a week for six weeks, 6pm - 7:30pm EST. 
 
Topics that will be addressed:
WEEK 1 (Monday 3/22):  Develop awareness of parent/child/family needs
WEEK 2 (Monday 3/29): Understanding the impact of attachment and trauma on children
WEEK 3 (Monday 4/5): Understanding your child and taking care of yourself
WEEK 4 (Monday 4/12): Helpful behavioral strategies that work
WEEK 5 (Monday 4/19): Connection through communication
WEEK 6 (Monday 4/26):  Healing through attachment
 
 

WHERE
A Zoom link for the virtual weekly support group sessions will be sent in your confirmation email once you register. All that's needed is a web cam, access to the internet and a quiet space.

The webinar and support groups are FREE, thanks to the Northern Post Adoption Consortium.
