Adoptive and kinship families, please join the Center for Adoption Support and Education (C.A.S.E.) and the Northern Post Adoption Consortium (NPAC) for a farm day of apple picking, a wagon ride, a huge playground, and donuts at the Marker-Miller Orchards in Winchester, VA!

Apple Picking and Farm Fun!
Adoptive and kinship families, please join the Center for Adoption Support and Education (C.A.S.E.) and the Northern Post Adoption Consortium (NPAC) for a farm day of apple picking, a wagon ride, a huge playground, and donuts at the Marker-Miller Orchards in Winchester, VA! We will have a reserved shelter for families to mingle before heading to the apple trees, the playgrounds, or the wagon ride. C.A.S.E. will cover the cost of a wagon ride and a ¼ peck bag of apples for each youth that attends.
This event is hosted by the Center for Adoption Support and Education (C.A.S.E.). It is for NPAC-eligible* families living within the Northern Post Adoption Consortium (NPAC) service region. This region includes Frederick/Winchester, Clark County, Loudoun County, Warren County, Shenandoah County, Falls Church/Arlington/Fairfax/Alexandria, Fairfax County, Fauquier County, Manassas/Manassas Park, Prince William County, Page County, Rappahannock County, Culpeper County, Stafford County, King George County, Spotsylvania County, Fredericksburg, Rockingham/Harrisonburg, Greene County, Orange County, and Louisa County. Thanks to our partnership with the Virginia Department of Social Services (VDSS) this event is provided at no cost to adoptive and kinship families. Please note that this is not a drop-off event; caregivers/parents must stay with the youth.
Families are eligible for this event and NPAC services if they reside in the Northern region of Virginia and are one of the following:
- A family with a finalized adoption (or a signed APA*) of a youth between the ages of 0 to 18 years; families with young adults under 21 may be eligible
- KinGAP families
- State-funded subsidy families
