Join us for this dynamic and interactive panel discussion in partnership with Maryland Family Network, for and with families in Baltimore City that have benefitted from C.A.S.E Services. You will hear the sincere and unique experiences of families just like yours, who have navigated the foster care system for their children.

ABOUT THE PRESENTERS:
Shawan Burke, MPA, is a former Head Start child who also served as a
Head Start parent. Her love for the program quickly grew from a desire
to help other families reach their greatest potential. Shawan has more
than a decade of experience providing comprehensive services to
families from birth through age 5. Currently she serves as an Early
Head Start Assistant Director of Family Services with Maryland Family
Network providing training, technical assistance, monitoring and
support to staff in Early Head Start programs across the State of
Maryland.
Jonelle Wimbush- is a licensed foster parent turned child advocate. She
has five kids but that’s likely to change if she has anything to do with
it. She has coined the motto “Give me all the babies” Adopting from
Illinois and now Maryland. She has worked in many different industries
including Supply Chain Logistics, Long-Term Rehabilitation Care and
Special Education Schools. Finding her passion as a resources parent
she feels C.A.S.E. is the perfect way to support and educate the local
community on the desperate need for suitable loving homes. Jonelle
graduated from Strayer University with a Bachelors in Business
Administration.
