Voices of Experience Panel Discussion
Join us for a powerful and inspiring lunchtime conversation with C.A.S.E.’s Emerging Leaders Advisory Council—a group of young adult adoptees who are helping shape the future of adoption, foster, and kinship care.

During this engaging panel, the Emerging Leaders will share insight into their personal journeys as adoptees, discuss the importance of telling their stories, and reflect on how their lived experiences inform their advocacy and leadership. They will also participate in an open Q&A session, offering attendees a chance to engage directly and gain deeper understanding into the needs and strengths of adopted and fostered youth.

This is a unique opportunity to hear directly from young adults who are not only using their voices to elevate others, but also helping to guide C.A.S.E.’s mission at the local and national level.

This is a free event, and lunch will be provided for all attendees.

Additionally, participants will be eligible to receive free Continuing Education (CE) credits approved by the Maryland Board of Social Work Examiners or a Certificate of Completion.

ABOUT THE PANELISTS:

Zoe Bulitt, Zoe Evans, Mikeala Smith, and Catey Yost are all members of C.A.S.E.'s Emerging Leaders Advisory Council . They are passionate about supporting C.A.S.E.’s mission of improving the lives of children who have been adopted or are in foster care and their families through counseling, lifelong education, and a growing national network of trained professionals.

The Emerging Leaders work closely with the C.A.S.E. Board of Directors and staff to enhance the organization’s local and national presence in the adoption, foster and kinship care communities.

They offer advice and recommendations to the organization, while also participating in public speaking, advocacy, and special fundraising events. While the council members are dedicated to their current role at C.A.S.E., they work with the intent to eventually assume leadership roles within the organization.
